Expand your knowledge of neural networks-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) in this second-level course. You’ll cover the theory and practice of modern neural nets and explore more sophisticated architectures. Increasingly challenging exercises will help you build AIs that can learn to classify images, perform rudimentary language translation and generate new artwork combining features and styles from images used for net training. You’ll emerge ready to apply deep learning techniques to solve real-world problems such as credit scoring and voice recognition.

What You’ll Learn

  • Know the theory and practice of modern neural networks.
  • Understand how neural net-based AIs help start-ups around the world.
  • Use TensorFlow to create and run deep neural nets.
  • Apply deep-learning network architectures to solve a range of problems.
  • Build AIs that can classify images, predict trends and perform other tasks.

Prerequisite: Machine Learning

I started this program with no IT background and desperate for a career change! Six months after graduating I secured work on a 5-person IT team at headquarters for a commercial real estate company. My learning continues eveeryday on the job! The best part of my learning experience at UoftSCS was having access to great instructors and the Learner Success Manager, who helped me find my way through the job market. The program was good and covered 8 major Cybersecurity domains, including Incident response and Governance regulation compliance which I actually use on the job. I wish there had been more about cloud computing but I think that's coming for future students. I also know waaaay more now about the industry and what job prospects are like today.
