Sprott Shaw College has been in continuous operation since 1903, when Robert James Sprott partnered with William Henry Shaw of Shaw Colleges to open the first Sprott Shaw School, originally named the Vancouver Business Institute. The college has grown through two economic recessions, two World Wars and the Great Depression into what it is today — a modern career college offering hands-on training in more than 130 career-focused programs at 16 locations across British Columbia, Canada.
Employing proven principles of adult education theory, Sprott Shaw trains students for careers in nursing, healthcare, business, administration, marketing, trades, Design, hospitality, and more.
